An error in CTCP handling has been discovered in the Quassel IRC client that allows attackers to send IRC messages as you. All Quassel users are encouraged to update their client immediately.
Version 3.4.2 of KVIrc was released and contains mostly bug fixes, reports the KVIrc web site. However, all KVIrc users are encouraged to upgrade as this update comes after published reports of a vulnerability that affected earlier versions.
