If a hop tries to use the !topic command, it doesn't allow him/her. I do have the same thing, cept the ishop is isop for ops, but it works fine there.

hmmm, weird. If I combined it to read

/if ( $nick isop <channame> || $nick ishop #channame )

then it worked. Oh well, I did get it to work

yeah it's best to combine things if they're looking for the same phrases.
