Are these allowed? (ok i got that answer)

I am trying to connect my bot (trivia, weather,...) to ca.WyldRyde.org:6667 but i get (permission denied)
any idea why that is?

Yes, they're allowed. WyldRyde Bot Policy

eggdrops can be very finicky.

What happens if you try to use IRC.WyldRyde.org? Where is it running from? Some web hosts block connections to port 6667. Try other ports.

First I'd like to say thanks to the wylderyde admins and ops for guiding me to eventually fix my bot connection issue.

As a beginner in both Linux and Eggdrop it's pretty challenging to get stuff working properly and efficiently so I rely alot on FAQ's, forums, tutorials and live #help channels.

This process can take days to get an answer to be able to move to the next step. This can be very frustrating especially if it was something very simple. So it's really nice when you find a network like WyldRyde.
Since I joined I've had all my technical issues ranging from nick registration to connecting a bot to my channel resolved or pointed towards the right direction within MINUTES... YA! M I N U T E S! Just blows my mind.

Great work. I'm never moving.
