A frequent question seen in #help is related to embedding your chat room on your website. Due to the recent departure of our old servers and most staff, the developer of our previous web client along with the client itself, TFlash, has also left the network.

I know what you're thinking, "bad news". Wrong! This gives us an opportunity like no other, to develop our very own flash chat client and make it more stable, secure, and overall better than TFlash. The new flash client is currently being developed by unic0rn (whom can be found in #help) and is making progress everyday.

As of right now, the development is an ongoing process and the new flash client is not yet complete, therefore we cannot provide you with a web chat client for your website. As a temporary alternative, we suggest creating a Mibbit widget at http://www.mibbit.com

We will update this thread with news about the development and release of the new flash client. Thank you for your patience during this brief time and you won't regret waiting!

Also, thanks goes out to unic0rn for all of the hard work being put into it.

Since you posted this, seems it's up and in 'Beta mode' but to be honest, it's a lot better than any Java based chat. The auto-hide sidebar might freak out a few newbies till they get the hang of it,.. it caught me out too but than it was 2am when I tried it and my brain was running on auto-pilot!
:P

Yea, it is pretty stable even though it is in "beta" - For the most part it is only in beta because when this topic was originally being written the developer of the current flash chat that we use was making new version, but he ended up having computer problems so he hasn't been on for two or three months. So instead of waiting for him to get his computer fixed, we decided to release the current version of the flash chat that he developed. Other than that, yea, there are no real bugs with it.
