I'm just wondering what is considered appropriate use of the bots (such as the 'what is' commands). I ask this because I have used them from time to time, as many other users have, to help out those needing assistance or asking questions, however earlier today I was warned for spamming the bots when in fact I had typed in "what is gnomedex" in response to someone wondering about it. I realize moderation is more strict during Gnomedex, but I was the first person to type it (two more also sent the command, one other was warned as well). I just did it to try to be helpful. Was I doing something wrong, or...

First my appologies i didn't see the question asked, however having said that we have a very low tolerance while Gnomedex is in session. The issue is many people abuse the bots on a regular basis so you were warned. Feel free to use the bots to answer questions asked going forward but understand while the confrence is taking place we will warn for it.

This is a similar situation with me, somebody stated that Chris should do a video on What is better, Xbox or PS3 so I responded with "what is better" - I was then told by CCMike to leave the bots alone, when I said that I wasn't doing anything of any harm (leaving the bots alone) I was then responded to in a sarcastic manor, no apologies or anything.

This is the second day I have been challenged by CCMike due to not understanding / seeing, I just don't deem it as fair.

That was your third or fourth "bot response" in less than three mins. When there are active moderators in the channel please leave the running of the room to them, the constant spamming of the bots just clutters the chat.
Sorry if my asking you to leave the bots alone has hurt your feelings, Maybe you should go back and read the "voiced rules" again

I have read the voiced rules, and foremost agreed with them. With the bot commands I was answering questions and there was a large context of chat within the timescale of the bot responses. I don't see it as spamming, more using it in a way which would help another user.

Okay, I will comment no further after this.. I am not upset nor do I intend to be upset from something so petty, I am rather annoyed. One of the bot commands didn't work so that was my second one in around three minutes.

I was correcting somebody who typed a command which didn't work, which proved pixie wasn't responding.

I only wanted to know why you always seem to jump on my back when many more people are doing the same.
