One of my chatters is getting this strange behavior; she tries to login by putting her nick and then flash starts .."flashing" between this and this (screenshots behind links) in rapid succession.

She's using IE7, Vista.

Any idea why this might be happening?

Until the developer has a chance to chime in, you might have her empty her browser's cache, restart the browser, and try again.

It looks like the flash client download to her computer was corrupted.

We've tried clearing the cache and restarting the browser, but still had the same results.

It did look like there was something wrong with the flash itself, so I asked her to download the latest Flash (her version was 9,0,16,0 btw ) and that seems to do it! smile Although, I can't say whether it was corrupted or just not the a recent enough version of flash--still, it works.

Thanks for the assist! smile

I had this problem. It would always do that when I was on my Wii. Because you cant update flash on the Wii, i couldn't use it.

I'm not having this problem. I'm running Mac OS X 10.5.4 using Firefox 3.0.1. It might only affect consoles and Windows with IE

You may not get the problem because your flash is up to date. Only older flash versions are affected.

That maybe the case, everyone try updating to the latest version of Flash. That may fix the problem.
