Is it ready for production and is it customizable? We have a java based chat client for our IRC channel and we are ready to move to a flash based one. Please advice. Thank you.

Yes, it's ready for production. It's not that customizable at the moment but we're going to be adding some customizable options to it in the near future. You might want to just wait if you have to pay a "webmaster" to update your web pages. Otherwise feel free to grab a copy now and just update it again later.

I do recommend that you keep a backup copy of the Java version if you decide you want to stay with it a bit longer as we're no longer providing the code. (The Java version can only be used if you already have the code for it.)

Cool. We connect to a specific IRC server. Is it possible to do this with the flash software? Thanks.

No, it has to connect to specific WyldRyde servers, it cannot connect to any others. The restriction id due to the Adobe Flash security model.
