I recently registered a room on WyldRyde, successfully registered my nickname on the channel, and successfully registered a moderator nickname on the channel.

However, I have another person for whom I would like to become a moderator. He can join the channel, and create a nickname:

/nick <nickname>

However, when he attempts to register his nickname via:

/msg nickserv register <password> <email>

the nickserv is responding with "-NickServ- <nickname> may not be registered."

Obviousy in the above examples we are replacing everything between <> with actual values.

We even tried a few different nicknames - with the same results on all attempts.

Any thoughts?

As an additional note, if we do a:

/ns list <nickname>

on the Nickname he is trying to register, the response is:

-NickServ- Nick <nickname> isn't registered.

What nickname is it? That would help us out in tracking it down. It is likely that you are trying to register a nickname that contains a WyldRyde Services Oper's Nickname. Ie, If you tried to Register Corey|laptop It wouldn't let you, as it contains Corey, which is my Main nickname. Same would apply for Ryan and Justin, the main nicknames where this usually happens. What is the nickname you are trying to register?
