Well mine comes from the fact that my name is Dave. My whole life people would call me "Davey" "David" and I would always respond "It's Dave!! just plain Dave!! not Davey ,, Not david". And so when I first registerd in #chris's chat, I grinned as typed in my nick for the first time.. lol

shaggysi0 is a derivative of the original nick "shaggysivirus" which has been my username since I first came onto the internet in 2001.
"shaggy si virus" was a nickname i was given my a friend of mine. He had the internet before me and I often used to use his computer at his house. For some reason, it crashed or went wrong every time I used it. I always said "it wasnt me!" (a line from Shaggy's classic hit) and would blame Windows ME. My friend, however, blamed me, and gave me that nickname.
On joining WyldRyde for the first time, in #besttechie, Jeff warned me that people would be put off asking for support in a tech channel if they saw someone with the name "Virus" sitting in there. So I changed it to shaggysi then shaggysi0, which has now been my nick for the duration of my Wyld Ryde

Hmmm. Way back in the day, The girl that I sat next to me in math class in 7th grade, always said that i was weird. We were like any other 7th graders and always passed notes back and forth, and she started writing notes to me addressed to freaky. When I started joining internet things, freaky was already taken, so, I changed the a to an e, and a y to and ie. Thus Freekie was born. This was oh.. 1998ish or so?

I came up with Cybergeek2021 a while back, and i just used it for everything so when i discovered IRC i used Cybergeek2021
