After reading the forae a bit, and looking at the servers page, it seems that only port 6667 is exposed for IRC. My laptop, provided by my employer, blocks port 6667 in such a way that I can't defeat it without some irritating and substantial PITA. I'm able to connect to other IRC networks, like freenode and mozilla, because they also expose port 7000, and I was wondering if WyldRyde would be willing to do the same. I'd like to join in, and would donate as a user, but not if I can't connect wink

Yes, I know I can connect via the web client, but I already have an IRC client that I like and I'm not really interested in having to open 2 windows for this purpose.

Thanks for your time;
cori
