How To IRC on the iPhone with Colloquy

Thumb_JELRzA.jpgOur friend Andru Edwards has posted a how to IRC on an iPhone with Colloquy on Gear Live.

You'll need a Mac that can be reached by an IP address on the internet and has Colloquy installed and connected to an IRC server and joined to one or more IRC Channels. The Mac will also have to be moved into your router's DMZ or better yet, just use port forwarding to allow and forward connections for port 6667 to your Mac. You'll also have to open port 6667 on your Mac if OS X's firewall is enabled. The rest of the instructions can be found in Andru's post.

If you look closely you'll notice in Andru's post that he is connected to WyldRyde and is using #chris for the purpose of the demonstration. Awesome!
