Antivirus Multiple Vulnerabilities

Serious vulnerabilities have been discovered in Avast! Antivirus, Avira Antivir Antivirus, and F-Secure Antivirus.

Avast Antivirus versions prior to 4.7.700 are vulnerable to an integer overflow flaw in the parsing of Symbian SIS files. If a malicious SIS file is scanned it would trigger this vulnerability and could execute arbitrary code.

All versions of Avira Antivir Antivirus prior to 7.4.24 are vulnerable to multiple vulnerabilities that can allow arbitrary code execution.

Nearly every F-Secure Antivirus products has a buffer overflow vulnerability in LHA archive handing that can allow arbitrary code execution or a denial of service condition.

All three vendors have updated versions that close these vulnerabilities and should be installed immediately.
