How do I create a Web Chat with just a link?

If you need a web chat but don't have a web site or can't include or upload our web chat scripts on your web page we added this just for you.

You simply use this URL to create a web chat that is hosted by WyldRyde:

http://www.wyldryde.org/chat/chat.php?channel=help

or to paste it in a web site use:

You will need to replace the word help with your channel's name and then place the link on your web page or share the URL in an email or over IM.

Keep the following in mind:

  1. You shouldn't include a pound (#) sign.
  2. Channel names cannot start with a number and some channel names are restricted or may already be in use. If it doesn't work, try it with a different name.

Thanks to Phil for the idea!
