What type of chats are allowed?

Most of the channels on the WyldRyde IRC Network are for computer user groups, open source software projects, anti-malware projects, and groups that engage in computer security research, education, scientific and medical research. However, the WyldRyde IRC Network also welcomes any channel that complies with the WyldRyde IRC Network Terms Of Service.

WyldRyde welcomes channels for:

  • Open source software projects
  • Anti-malware forums
  • Computer security research
  • Tech Support
  • Education
  • Scientific/Medical Research
  • Forums and communities
  • Blogs and other web sites
  • Commercial and non-commercial use
  • Socializing

WyldRyde does not welcome:

  • Warez trading (trading of copyrighted software)
  • Child pornography and child exploitation
  • Credit card or identify trading
  • MP3 and music trading
  • Hacking or cracking
  • Botnets
  • Hate speech
  • Channels that focus on or permit other illegal activities or activities which may be offensive, violate the rights, harm, or threaten the safety of any person.

Although WyldRyde itself is a unmoderated forum, the WyldRyde administration will cooperate fully with any officially recognized law enforcement body to the best of its capability when required to do so by force of law. Observed and verifiable instances of illegal activities will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
