WyldRyde.NET is back under our control!

We are happy to announce that the WyldRyde IRC Network has regained control of the WyldRyde.net domain name.

GregMo registered WyldRyde.net but allowed the registration to lapse when he stopped participating in the network's operation. The remaining staff attempted to transfer the domain several times before it expired but the transfers were not approved. When the domain expired it was grabbed up by a company that displayed a fake search engine which allegedly installed ad-ware on unsuspecting users' computers.

Before the WyldRyde.net domain expired several WyldRyde volunteers back-ordered the domain but were unsuccessful in obtaining it. However, after a very long wait Pierce was able to successfully snag it and earlier today he transferred the domain name to WyldRyde Corporation, the non-profit entity for the WyldRyde IRC Network.

WyldRyde.net is now interchangeable with WyldRyde.org and either domain name may be used from here out, although WyldRyde.org will be our preferred domain name.
