UPDATE:

"Rick" from Irc-news finally noticed and has agreed to stop stealing our content. He's claiming we didn't try to contact them which is completely false. Emails were sent on 12/5/02, 12/16/05, and 12/23/05.
If Irc-news would have removed our feeds as we asked we wouldn't have had to stoop to such attention getting means. And I might add that we decided to pull this funny one in lieu of having our lawyer send a DMCA C&D notice to Irc-news' webhost.
Irc-news is making the argument that Google does the same thing. I have to take issue with this. They're not Google or like any other search engine. Irc-news is simply out to drive traffic to their own site to get clicks on their ads. Unlike search engines people don't go to them to find relevant content. People only go to Irc-news because they were tricked into going there because a term they were searching for was on Irc-news and that content is most likely from a site where Irc-news just sucked the RSS feed in from. Shame. Shame.
