Does WyldRyde have SSL enabled servers?

Some of our servers accept SSL connections on port +6697. If you wish to use SSL you will have to experiment by trying to connect to these ports on our active servers or using our SSL Round Robin: ssl.wyldryde.org:+6697

NOTE: We do not officially support SSL connections as these are enabled for testing purposes only. Once mIRC and some other popular clients improve their SSL functionaility we will ensure this service is enabled and properly configured on all our servers.

I think your ssl certs are done incorrectly
[14:33:24] SSL Issuer: /C=US/ST=New York/O=IRC geeks/OU=IRCd
[14:33:24] SSL Subject: /C=US/ST=New York/O=IRC geeks/OU=IRCd

It should be like

SSL Issuer: /C=Country/ST=State that the server is in/L=City/O=organization name /OU=department name/CN=full.domain.name
SSL Subject: /C=Country/ST=State that the server is in/L=City/O=organization name /OU=department name/CN=full.domain.name

You should also thing of getting your ssl certs signed by a trusted signer instead of using self signed certs. w w w . cacert . org does free signing of ssl certs :)
