Does WyldRyde Spy On Me?

The WyldRyde staff does not spy! The WyldRyde IRC Network takes User Privacy very seriously. Your private conversations belong private and are of no interest to our staff.

Unlike many other networks WyldRyde will not install or use modules or modify our IRCd or Services to allow our staff to spy on queries (private messages) or private/secret channels. In addition, our current IRCd and service package doesn't allow our staff to enter channels secretly or view or log any private communications.

To further protect our users we scramble all user's IP addresses and hostmasks to prevent others from connecting directly to your computer or tracking you down.

In addition, the WyldRyde web site has a publicly posted privacy policy which explains in detail how we collect information when you visit WyldRyde, why we collect it, and how it is used.
