I go to #help and no-one helps me!
The WyldRyde operators and helpops (Staff) give up their free time to help support WyldRyde, and may not necessarily be online or at their keyboard when you visit #help. If you do not get a response hang around until you see one say something or try again at a different time of the day.
The most important thing to remember when visiting #help is to read the channel topic. Important information is given in the channel topic, and the operators often choose not to respond to questions that are answered by the information contained in the topic itself.
Here are some questions that are likely to be ignored by the WyldRyde Staff or may even get you kicked from #help:
- Can I be an IRCOp?
- Why was I banned from [#channel]?
- Can you remove my ban from [#channel]?
- Can you get [nick] in here to tell me why I was banned from [#channel]?
- [nick] has banned me from [#channel]! Can you gline him?
- Why is my entire ISP banned from [#channel]?
- Why was [nick] killed or glined?
- How long is [nick] glined for?
- [nick] is annoying me and wont shut up! Can you gline him?
- Can you forbid [#channel]?
- Can you help me find a copy of [software]?
- Can you help me find mp3s?
- Where has [#channel] moved?
- Why was [#channel] forbidden?
- Why was my link request rejected?
- Can you help me setup an IRC server?
- Why won't services [install or work] on my IRC server?
- Will you be an [operator or admin] on my IRC server?
- How did WyldRyde make [feature]?
