Someone is abusive toward me, what should I do?

Sadly, this happens. Some people have to play "the rotten apple" and spoil the fun for all the others.

Remember, "/ignore nick" is your best friend when someone is causing you problems.

Most of the time, IRCOps dont have the time to track down individual users and tell them how to behave, but if you think someone is being especially nasty or is spamming a channel and annoying lots of users you can always come to #help and tell us what channel this is happening in. We won't trust what you're saying unless we know you very well so don't expect us to kill or ban anyone without us seeing them first hand doing something wrong.
